Review by: Webmaster

Price paid: $ 1,599.00
Year Use: New Owner (0-1 years)
Carried out: None
Purchased from: Jacobi Sales

Strengths I love the LT-1042. I had another cub and it was 17yrs old when he died. The tractor is comfortable and has the best durability for the money. Believe me I have 17 different all MTD lawn mower, John Deere saw Husqavarna, Dixie, to name a few. Tractor for the money and the quality was the LT1042 mower for size I needed. Cub 3 years of warranty and 0% for 24 months if you buy from a real dealer may not sell CENER.

Weaknesses PTO relay is notorious for you and just stop dying without waraning the leaves and the PTO switch is still working. All you do now, the old to take to a dealer, and they will replace it without question. MTD tends to a few bad seats, so that the fenders are not slippery and the tractor and the fenders seem to wave at themselves. For this closley NOT BUY ONE until it clicks.

General, with the guarantee and financing, I do not see where anyone could go wrong. Cub will stand behind the product, no matter what and there is no problem if they pick up and fix it and send it along with salt to a temporary break while your lawn mower. (Cub Cadet dealers only) You can not go wrong with a Cub.

Price paid: $ 1700.00
Year Use: New Owner (0-1 years)
Carried: Agri-Fab plastic garden cart (not recommended)
Bought at: Lowe’s, Pharr, TX

Improve the performance, reliability Kohler engine. Construction seems better than most other MTD tractors. Side-by-side comparison with Troy Bilt, Cub Cadet LT-1042 seems the best buy for only € 100, – $ 200 more.

Weaknesses Liver push very hard right down to the engine in reverse nervous to start vice versa. Grease nipples are nice, but could be better displayed. When used in a dusty debris headlights that can not be disabled. (I have a switch on mine) vibrations with notches in the plastic cover, which is on the dashboard. Cub Cadet will not allow oil filter cross reference, and Lowe’s does not stock the expensive OEM filters. Set ENGINE spec delivery volume and sequence of M & D in Ohio. You get the original OEM filter Kohler cheaper. Deck wash is nice, but slow to build clean. The deck may be easier to belt R & R. not remove easily. The engine is rather noisy.

Overall I think the strengths outweigh the weaknesses and feel the purchase was worth the extra money. I want a new thing I’ve noticed that this is based on the mowing and collect now.

Pieces: 4 Performance: 9 Ease of Use: 8 Financing: Reliability: 9 Total: 8

Price paid: $ 1,600.00
Years of use: 2 years
Implements: Mower
Purchased from: private traders

Strengths Mine runs fine, no engine problems. It is easy enough to mow around obstacles in my garden.

Weaknesses of the deck. Too bad, because that’s what I bought for: mowing. I’m on the third volume of this year, and it’s beginning in June. At $ 40 per tape plus one hour or two to change it, you can understand my confusion. I have less than 100 hours on this machine. Also bore the skid plate or small bar under the front of the deck quickly, and so did its replacement (another $ 30 or $ 40). I think the deck could be wrong, improperly installed or something. However, approximately $ 800 for warranty and replacement. After the first month of the exhaust manifold developed a leak and melted the hood! The replacement cover was free, but it took several months to get one.

Generally avoid.

Strength Runs very well. Quickly and starts every time runs in goose, cut IS. Versatility is the best part of the machine. Can John Deere Power any device she wishes only. Very easy to use. Very easy to care.

MANY weak security features. I do not have two hours to remove all uh assurance. Most of it is irritating, die RIO (reverse mode) taste, print them, IF she a backup copy of the blades factory wool. I do not have a lot of trees like my property and I have often run-K. My fingers touch Taub war so often. Also, I just know that the switches. I also fought the seat. I may be able to hop from machine to move in the street branches without insurance. These other safety I had let cave brake pressure valve, not the one to start the machine without the walk will please die brake defeated. It’s not a big thing, but I have no problems Autoritat:) I also got rid of this female function.

Total purchase is a John Deere children play. The support structure is excellent. There are a lot of handlers MANY parts and available. Machine and die of this versatility is unsurpassed. I bought a Husqvarna went quickly, But Deere and I’m happy with that, I did know that. I cut leaves with him the lawn, bag, snow plowing firewood moved ….. and I’m sure I can find more application in time. ”

Strong start light. Vertebrae. Easy to like the deck is an animal change. I like the cruise. The seat is comfortable, I asked the chair and A +. I bought the cover and the love of his pocket and cup holder. I Mahen a large plot of 2.5 hectares, which is very rough and uneven. It is used, uh me 6-7 hours, er with one self-propelled walk behind (22 ‘Honda, Quad II) Mahen. I cut the nun in 2 hours whole. I do not often skip Mahen more weeks for road trips. I am impressed by the database management. Previously, the spring, when I took over Mahen for 2-3 weeks, my eight hours, Mahen. I should go at the slowest speed was a regular stop, the grass to teach advanced and funnel. OMG, I first type of grass with a DM 145-LA Address, war, I dang pretty impressed. Granted, it is not a war Glat cut one, but I expect nothing else to signal. Never once even slowed down the engine. Hide Fung deck only once. The average 12 “(and higher) Grass and weeds without engine load, am self Few services. I do not have even a car pulling my chain on the turf court casinos collecting, collecting leaves, dirt and rock and wear. Headlamps illuminated a useful amount of light. I run rule in the late cut and I’m still worked when the sun goes down. Have I mentioned the thing is just to the factory?

The vulnerability is not the same section of the Journal Glat or a single double-decker. Sometimes welding between the strip and shovels to a roughness variables. I had a company in the mid 80′s lawn care. I was not with this kind of shells of lawn mowing cut. But on the ranch, only the relatively Mahen Great 2 + acre “lawn” of the stomach is still not really noticeable. Although a beautiful park and who is my turf grass Failure to show. I think that offer durability real kicker. Some parts of Sindh and very durable whaaaaaaahahahaha apparent questionable. I think I do not know light was long.

General Ok, I am a new owner. I do not have 10 hours on the tractor wheat Sun Most recently I have increased much after Web salaries, purchased the promotion I have seen. I found it difficult to learn and to Choose Over-ride-like reports. Streets of my struggle I decided to come back possessions, she considered it, and my guests, which mà ¶ add as possible lapses. In the mid-80s, I had a lawn care companies. I am very familiar with their mowers and engines. I do not have rebuilt hundreds of small engines. I share the responsibility for a ranch court. The First Year I have cut by hand. But fell after conversion of the fence of the courtyard Large this year (doubled). I tried Eve 8 hours per week in the last year, the mowing (6 hours) ash and weed the garden irrigation system to keep flower beds. I have of this year we decided I could do one yourself Mahen Maher Less time and more time for projects to improve Eve. So far I am very satisfied with the usefulness of this little tractor. The care of the yard is my hobby. I love working in the garden. I spend days geese cave on Saturday to work on the farm. Mahen and I do not use the tractor more uh yourself around to towing. Later I had a plane aerators, seeders, fertilizer, adding and vacuum welding of attachments. I wanted to buy John Deere dealer, but am not currently in stock comb it, I examined the. I too was Lowes. The price of the same war in both directions. I was requested these local JD dealer support, but it does not guard this time. I feel pretty sure, know that when it comes Daruma to replace this mower, I’ll buy another John Deere, but I’ll spend a little more and move the line now she she a 300 series.

Strengths I have a super wild horse, with 19 HP engine and was an amazing koler of three years. I bought my first year in high school and have cut away a 16-20 season. im coming to 200 hours and havent had a single problem. the fact that I could not cut in reverse got on my nerves but finally found the security cable connected to the transmission and “accidentally removed, but other then that its purpose is. I have used to guide about five miles to get a couple of jobs and the fuel tank has enough fuel to go and return without probs !!!!! I would recommend this model to anyone. We also have the Troy-Bilt Weed Wacker and I’m ready to buy a machine push …. I can not wait!

Overall this is a very good and I am very pleased to be a high school student, the price was quite reasonable for purtchase on my own

Powerful 20 HP Kohler was one of the reasons I bought this tractor. After a few months I started to use raw fuel smell in the garage. I could not find any leaks. In July, the month was out of warranty I noticed that the gas tank was almost empty even though I had more than half a tank when parked. I removed the vent and found gas in the carb throat flood. I called Lowe and asked what to do the repair. He was given a local phone number service shop. When I checked my account of the sale, the guarantee was one week out of warranty. I was told to bring in and have control, but could not say it was under warranty. I have no way to put this tractor this size. This is a fire hazard, so leave the yard. I contacted Troybilt but I have not heard from them again. I buy my equipment from reputable lawn lawn and shops now and pay the higher price for good service.

Weaknesses gas leak gas leakage or fire

Overall, 10 is a fire hazard

This guided information for you using to decision for choose tractor mower.

Selection of type tractor mower

Confirmation of receipt

For the lawn, which is more than 1 / 2 acres with multiple objects a zero turn mower would be a good choice. Time needed to mow your lawn can be halved with a zero-turn lawn mowers because they are effective. The excellent maneuverability can easily mow around all large objects without a back-up and back. The rear wheels are used for power and control and operate independently so one wheel can be reversed, while the other wheel rotates forward allowing zero to 360 degrees in the opposite direction. Besides these mowers are fast, up to 6.5 kilometers per hour, so you can quickly cover a large field.

Riding Mowers

On the lawn between 1 / 2 to 1 hectare of lawn mower will be ideal. They have few attachments as they are mainly built to a thin wheel and that is to reduce the lawn!

Riding Mowers

With higher performance engines lawn tractors are better for larger lawns and rougher terrain. They also have a good range of optional accessories, so if you want a snowblower mower, air pump, a machine to move material around the courtyard, you must choose a lawn tractor.

Garden tractors

The hardest of these machines with the highest performance, garden tractors usually have two-cylinder engines and sturdy transmissions. For a large garden or yard with rough terrain choose a garden tractor.

Factors to consider before buying a tractor or lawn mower

Lawn Size

The first thing to take into account the performance of the engine and cutting width and to ensure that they are suitable for the size of your lawn. Here are some basic guidelines to help you choose. Be informed about the width of any obstructions, such as a greater reduction of the deck can mow a large area, but is able to mow between obstacles.

1 / 2 to 1 hectare lawn: You have a mower with a minimum of 14 hp engine and 42 “cutting width

1 to 2 acres lawn: width between 42 “and 46″ with 14 to 16 hp engine is enough

3 Acres and above: For this size lawn of the size of the engine between 18 and 24 horses and 46 “to 54″ deck was the best buy

Attachments

Frames and axles can tell a lot about the tractor.

expensive machines are usually forged or cast iron axes

Low-price machines are usually front axle, which are formed and welded steel (Pig. 1), and more expensive machines are usually forged or cast iron axes (Pig. 2). Wrought-iron and axes are stronger and have a good predictor of the level of quality.

A wide range of accessories are available for riding mowers, including cutters, wheel, tractor shovel, electric diffusers, Baggers, etc. Check the annex, you now or in the future be available for the model. Mowers generally have few connections are cheaper, but for that to buy anything if you want to do is mow your lawn mower running, the best buy.

Transmission

Driven or automatic?

hydrostatic transmission

Broadcast

Bags, mulching or side discharge

Lawn mowers have many options to easily switch between mulching or side benefits. Most of them pockets optional attachment.

available in different quality levels, especially between hydrostatic transmission. Some people will work more easily and held longer than others. Consider the layout of cutting the lawn with a lawn mower or tractor. Gear mower will be better in an open space with few obstacles such as flower beds or bird baths. Select the automatic transmission for areas where obstacles are, you can easily speed around the objects. Most of the lawn tractors with automatic transmission also have cruise control so you can set in areas that are clearer.

The quality of the engine are different. Some of the same size engines are eliable and designed for longer life.

Overall reliability can vary greatly. In some cases, more expensive cars are simply better built all the way and give more services with fewer problems.

Service should be addressed. Less expensive machines typically have a shorter warranty and repair immediately to ensure it may be difficult, retailers and manufacturers tend to be more expensive cars.

Availability of parts can be a big problem. More expensive machines usually come from specialized dealers garden lawn mowers or farm machinery, many stock parts and have easy access to some parts even more. Cars are often cheaper than those sold by discount stores and supermarkets, which have long-term relationship with the manufacturer, so the future availability of spare parts is questionable. Tractors at discount stores and large retailers can bring the brand at home, but the real producer (and the design) may change every year.

The whole problem becomes a question of values. You must be offset characteristics of quality, the price for different brands and models and then find out what is best value for you. What you may not be good for your neighbor. If you only have a small lawn mowing, may be satisfied with low-cost tractor and lawn mower. If you use the mower generally, you may want to better reduce the time and repairs.
