The Little Fish Theatre Co. – Shakespeare by the Sea’s contemporary theatre branch – presents an encore performance of John Ford Noonan’s light-hearted comedy A Coupla White Chicks Sitting Around Talking. The show runs for three nights, Thursday, Friday & Saturday, May 16, 17 & 18 at 8pm at the Brown Bros. Bldg. (455 6th St., San Pedro, CA, 90731). Tickets are $10 at the door. Feathers fly and chicken feed scatters as a straight-laced housewife's life is turned upside down when an ex-Texas-cheerleader moves in next door. It's a show that'll keep you clucking! Directed by Lisa Coffi, White Chicks stars local actresses Suzanne Dean as Hannah Mae Bindler and Brooke Wood as Maude Mix.
The Little Fish Theatre Co. is part of Shakespeare by the Sea – the company that produces free summer Shakespearean performances throughout the South Bay. Our programming has expanded because of support received from Jerico Development. With the addition of Little Fish, Shakespeare by the Sea can now do contemporary performing arts programming such as plays, readings and workshops.
